moong dal and urad dal curry

Urad dal white 1/2 cup moong dal 1/2 c wash 3 times, chop 1 tomato, add all this to cooker with water, 1/4 t turmeric cook the dal, till one whistle, not over cook
heat a pan add oil, temper with mustard onion, ginger, garlic slices, curry leaf, salt, asafoetida,chilly powder /flakes 1 t saute and add to curry and boil.


This curry tastes very good.
