Remove green algae from bathroom

Before getting started, it is important to rinse off the area to get rid of any excess dirt and dust. Next, homeowners should mix 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup of borax in a bucket of warm water and apply the mixture to the area with a sponge. The mixture needs to sit for a few minutes in order to work. The area can then be worked with a scrub brush to get rid of the algae and then rinsed off with a strong spray hose.

Make a solution of 1 part bleach, 1 part dish washing liquid and 2 parts water. Get a floor broom and scrub it on the area. The soap makes the bleach stick to the area. Give everything a good scrub, let it sit for ten minutes or so and then wash away. Should be good as new!

Spread some lime over the area to get rid of the moss, or a cheaper method if you have a fireplace is to lightly spread some of the ashes over the area. If you wet it down, it sort of makes the gray disappear, but it gets rid of the moss.
