jaggery - 2 bowls
sugar -1/2 bowl
elaichi 3 crushed
jeera 1/2 tsp
ginger powder 2 pinch
heat jaggery , sugar with water necessary for cooking rava, make a syrup add jeera elaichi ginger powder
dry coconut 25 gms, cut into small square pieces,
cashew 5 , split in the centre
raisin 2 tbs
dry dates 10 , crush and cut into pieces
in 1 tb ghee, in a pan roast coconut, dates, cashew, last add raisin
heat a wok add 1 bowl of til oil, roast rava in oil, add roasted dry fruits, and add jaggery syrup and cook,
grease a plate and put the cooked halwa in it, and spread, cool and cut into squares.
a very tasty recipe, the dry fruits especially coconut and cashew gives a special taste.
