Rava halwa/rava sweet upma/rava laddoo/rava unda

badam 25 gm
cashew 25 gm
clove 3
elaichi 3
black pepper 6
jeera 1/2tsp
rava 2 cup/400gm
jaggery powder 3/4 cup
bura /sugar powder 3/4 cup
Til oil 1/2 cup
gond 1tb
ghee 3 tsps
2 pinch of rock salt/ table salt
boiling water 2 cup or more
In 1tsp ghee fry gond and powder it


chop badam, cashew to 4 to 6 pieces , In 1 tsp ghee fry it.
add till oil to the hot pan and fry rava  with 2 pinch of rocksalt.
boil 3 cup water on other stove
crush well  clove pepper elaichi jeera in a mortar
after frying rava add crushed masala, fried nuts, gond powder,bura, jaggery powder and mix well
add remaining to it. after mixing add boiling water as necessary stir and cook well.
and make powdery rava upma or grease a plate spread the mix and press the mixture and give flat shape on the top sprinkle some fried nuts on the top and cut into small squares after cooling. This is rava halwa
For making rava unda/laddoo make small balls with hands
This is very healthy and good for winter season
avoid table salt and normal sugar for health, white sugar destroy calcium and mineral from the body . and make the bones weak
avoid ginger powder, and more ghee, it is cooling and increse cold and cough for weak people, If you are healthy add it
Use til oil, groundnut oil, avoid cooling oils like coconut, palm oil etc.
spices, jaggery , nuts, gond  add heat to the body
This recipe is also good for rainy season in kerala.
good for children and weak persons
The recipe produce more heat to the body and it will remove cold related diseases like cough and other allergies related to it.


A very must for winter season and good for cold and cough
