basmati rice cooking/Easy biryani

wash 1 cup rice add 2 cup water, salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 cup matar, 1 tsp til oil, 1 tomato chopped, green chilly 4 chopped, boil it, lower flame for 5 minutes or till the water absorbed and little mushy, then switch off flame. wait for 15-30 minutes and give a stir, again heat for 2-3 minutes and switch off. after 30 minutes open and stir and serve.

for small amounts of raw rice this is good to boil water and rice, it has the effect of soaking rice in warm water, so cook well.
For more than 1 kg rice boil water and add rice
old basmati rices are good for perfect grains
new basmati rices are mushy on cooking so soak in water and use less water
Use oil,lemon is good
adding turmeric gives beautiful yellow color to rice
Adding green pea, green chilly, tomato give color and taste to the rice
it is like a biryani
